I only learned about this site yesterday, August 25, but was happy to know such a place existed!
I have had a soft heart for turtles since I was a small boy, and am now hoping to acquire a captive- bred tortoise for a pet. It would be so nice to finally have a turtle that would eat for me and stay healthy! Had too many, growing up, that wouldn't eat, and my parents would make me release them....
Hope that will finally change for the better, now!
As a final note, I am disabled, and have been for years, now. Having pets helps to bring back a little joy into my life!
