Too be fair I did say until it was ready.... and people assume I’m going to have him indoors forever... I do appreciate advice but there are a lot of people on this site that tend to be harsh in there wording

Nope no red lights... and I’m not sure I’m liking the the cypress I did notice bigger chunks but Pulled anything out and threw it away that I felt wouldn’t be comfortable for them I think im going to go tomorrow and look for orchard bark I’ve heard a lot about both but him eating cypress mulch...

So I️ changed my boys pens out today to cypress mulch and panzer the big boy is fine with it but the baby (2yrs old ) is trying to eat it!! I pulled out what he had in his mouth and distracted him with a treat but why is he doing this? I dont want him eating mulch!?

Update: Panzer is back outside thanks to everyone who didn’t jump down my throat about him being cooped up for a couple days

He’s only going to be in it for about a week long enough to finish his outside habitat

An 8 foot by 8foot pen is too small?? He walks around in it and seems fine it’s not as big as his out door pen but I mean he has room to walk around... I can make it bigger but I didnt think it needed to be... should I extend it? I dont want him outside it will bother me to the point of...

Getting ready for winter :)

Hey everyone :) OK so were bringing in our big boy, Panzer (120lb Sulcata tortoise) inside for the winter because we don't want to attempt to do his first winter outside without having everything ready first. There fore he will be inside his 8x8 indoor play pen we normally dont have him indoors...

Yes! Lol he is always on Panzer a level! They even sleep snuggled up together in the sun sometimes!

We were talking about that the other day he has a shed already that is insulated with PhaseChange my husband makes the product it’s definitely worth looking into we’re testing it right now and keeping a constant watch on the temp to see how it’s going to do during the colder months here... so...

It takes a lot of maintenance to keep it that way naturally without any yucky chemicals that would hurt my tiny ones

This is him right after we got him home (this is our big babies travel pen) we picked him up in Georgia and drove 5 hours back home and he has taken up with his outdoor pen so good but now that winter time is coming around his daddy is building him a big indoor pen I hope he likes it just as good

Thank You so much! And before I was just posting pictures of him in other groups and his progress he has made and I guess nobody read his story and automatically started assuming it was our doings! It just hurt my spirit so bad to see my sweet boy being bashed while making so much progress!
