replaced 7 month old substrate substrate and cleaned everything in my tortoise’s enclosure. the entire process took longer than i thought it would (never buying coconut coir blocks from amazon ever again) but not bad for this being my first time.

12 minutes a day outside everyday 😊 fully supervised cause he’s still small and i have dogs. def enjoying that 80-90 degree weather (i spray him occasionally with water to avoid overheating/dehydration). he likes to nibble at the grass.

the majority of henbit and mallow grow under the backyard porch, i think i can ask him to leave that alone :/ i’ll have to say bye to all the other natural dandelion greens and flowers that grow though 😔
