I'm a reptile lover, have been all my life. As a child (8yrs) I found a box turtle my parents only let me keep it a couple days as we didn't know how to care for it. Since then I have always wanted a tortoise. But remembering back to childhood have always thought they were difficult to care for. Then one day I was in Petco looking for supplies for my snakes and my son's bearded dragon, they had Russian Tortoises' for sale. I did not buy one right then but rather went home and researched them and slept on it for a few days. When I went back they were still there one male and one female. Well I bought both they are now Fred and Wilma. I am always looking for more information about Russians so when I found your forum I decided to join.
