Thanks, Maggie. Just to clarify, I'm not wanting to raise a desert tortoise here in Bend. Obviously, these are dramatically different conditions. My plan, of course, is to build an enclosure in the house to keep the tortoise warm and safe. I'm just starting to research how to make this happen...
