Love seeing these updates. We're in Chicago too with big plans for a heated enclosure greenhouse/shed.

This dude is growing tremendously and we're setting up his greenhouse this weekend to move outdoors! We let him out once every few weeks to let the kids feed him a treat.

They definitely aren’t as noticeable but I love that he’s unique, especially if he’s ever stolen and I have to prove ownership [emoji51]

My oldest got a tortoise for his birthday at six and is now asking for another for his ninth birthday. We’re thinking to add a leopard to our crew [emoji4]

I’ve been trying to tempt him with food that’s fresher and tastier than normal grass but he just won’t eat. How many days should this go on before I try something different? He seems alert otherwise when he’s outside. In his indoor enclosure he just lays around mostly.

I’m pretty sure he hasn’t, and he normally eats a ton every day. He didn’t go outside for two days (rainy/cold) and both days he boycotted food inside. I watch him closely outside and I haven’t seen him nibble at anything, even when I put goodies out to tempt him.
