Does This Look Normal For. Four Month Old Red Foot?

Still no answer from ProHeat. So, I will start making plans for installing my own RHP as stated above. Not sure I can recommend ProHeat after sending an email back requesting a quote.

No reply email today from ProHeat. I responded still asking for a quote and was hoping would get one today, but nothing. If I have to I will go and get one from Tractor Supply, but was hoping to have it built into the enclosure so to speak.

Does This Look Normal For. Four Month Old Red Foot?

It has worked well for my Savannah. She has even laid eggs, infertile, but has laid them. I have been told that I am doing something right since I have had her almost five years and she has laid eggs. Most Savannahs die at a very young age. I’m hoping! This is what I use now for our two...

Does This Look Normal For. Four Month Old Red Foot?

I use a MVB for my Savannah Monitor, and it has done well for her, but I would not use one for a redfoot. I emailed back and said that I would still like a price quote for a RHP. Also, funny enough, my enclosure now has been keeping up near 80% humidity the last couple of days. I think the...

Does This Look Normal For. Four Month Old Red Foot?

So I have emailed ProHeat and this is their response after asking what my UVB will be. “You may not need a radiant panel with the room temperatures you state. I would suggest thinking about using a DHP bulb which can provide both the basking area temperatures and UV source. It is probably...

Thank you for your response, but I am going with what I can afford right now. I can get an AP enclosure for under $400. I have lots of the supplies already that I need that can be reused once I’m not using the terrarium anymore, including the thermostat, CHE if I don’t go with a RHP and I can...

Does This Look Normal For. Four Month Old Red Foot?

I was looking at about $993 with a Smart Enclosure for a 4x2x2.5 for a complete unit. I'm not sure that the AP enclosure will add up to that much, even with buying some of the stuff to go in it. Is the $993 price from 2021 wrong and it is cheaper now? I am not trying to be argumentative. I am...

Does This Look Normal For. Four Month Old Red Foot?

Okay. I wasn’t thinking of it as a basking shelf, more of increased room and using the enclosure vertically can do that. I’ll leave it out if the equation though.

Does This Look Normal For. Four Month Old Red Foot?

Okay. I will order an animal plastics one. I’m gonna go with the one from the signature line as it seems they are trying to move away from the classics line. I’m gonna order the RHP from the other place and have AP install it. If I remember correctly, you had a shelf in yours. Was that just so...

How about the UVB? A smaller hood size and on one side?
