My son moved into a smaller place and had to get rid of some of his animals. He wanted me to take his Mastiff. I love the dog but he is huge and slobbers on everything. The other choices were a snake (he didnt' even ask me) and a noisy bird. The last time I had seen the Tortoise (Shakespeare) He was less than 1/4 of the size he is now. I was very surprised when I picked him up at the airport. He's a great pet. I don't have any trouble finding someone to watch him if I'm out of town either.
