OK I finally decided on a tortoise, we want to to get a cherry head red foot tortoise. I think the leopard is beautiful but it seems the cherry head are more outgoing from all the posts and info. Be great if anybody can direct me to a breeder. Thank you

Looking for a breeder in northern indiana, or Michigan. I really don't feel right buying a tortoise from pet smart, but that's the only I have found.

I expect the tortoise to be a digger, not a problem. I have read cypress mulch is a good bedding, true? Also has anyone heard of Uncle Bill's pet supply around fort Wayne area? Seems to be the closest place to purchase a tortoise.
