I have 3, two males and one female. The female is sick and it was separated from the others as soon as I noticed it. They have an enclosure outside.

No she does it at random times and when eating, it’s roughly every 15-20 minutes
Yes the mouth is open but when eating she does it with a mouth full
Both, sometimes her head comes out and once he stops she pulls it back in, or it’s in and makes the noise
