Here we are, the end of February, and I've already spotted a handful of dandelions in bloom. Of course we have daffodils and crocus, but dandelions already!
Snowdrops continue to stretch their legs. Finally some sunny days. Spring is just around the corner.
we have a few hundred of these cheery flowers blooming.
Yikes…..it was 7F on early Monday morning & today it is 70F (21C). Crazy temps. Garden is soggy soggy soggy. Tons of rain coupled with all the melted snow.

How long do you have your lights set on for? Right now we just crossed shortest “day” of the year and daylight will get longer each day. Your tort is programmed by this. You need to mimic “summertime” both in temperatures and day length.
Happy Holidays to everyone in the CDR. Not too much new here…still enjoying retirement, gardening, woodworking & my volunteer work at a Smithsonian facility. Not too much kayaking this year, too hot & busy. Our Sully continues to grow, is too heavy to lift and is enjoying life.

Traveling to a new location. If you can, have the new habitat & enclosure all set up & dialed in. Correct lighting, temps, etc.
Probably beyond your scope to get a new enclosure all set up. So, just provide a good soaking before you depart, a good safe container during travel...
