Can i keep my russian tortoise in its outside enclosure all summer?

I have both a home depot and lowes 5 minutes away from my house there right next to each other :). Ill go tommorow and take a look at what they have. I dont have any pix but i plan on adding a humid hide box on one end and maybe something over part of the cage to provide shade. What is a nightbox?

How do i hibernate him and if i do bring him inside does then inside enclosure need to be same size. Also where can i buy the wood for the outside enclosure online.

Im doing it outside because our apartment has our own private roof, i think i will use pressure treated wood!

Ok thank you! I just did measurments and i realized i can fit a 4 foot by 8 foot enclosure. I plan to make it myself but just a few questions. What type of wood should i use? How do i heat the whole enclosure? And What do i do if it rains?
