He acts normal like nothing is wrong plays in water , stays in the heat lamp alot though and I always make sure to put water and that he has food , right food , orchard grass zoo med and today I put a pretty small amount of cilantro , when I pick him up he hides at first but than is cool

Well I took out the lettuce and mixed orchard grass and cilantro that's okay right , plus I put zoo med mash on top

I saw this calcium spray am I able to put that on the lettuce so he can at least get calcium and maybe put a little bit of orchard hay on to to see if he eats it too ?

I noticed the tortoise won't eat much of anything other than lettuce , is that normal ? Cause I put bell peppers he only took a few bites than left , same with the organic orchard grass but when It comes to lettuce he dosnt stop eating it

Well I he seems normal he walks around has his eyes open all the time ... the only time he closes his eyes is when he stretches out and lays flat in the center of everything

Well right now I got him a heat bulb (100 w intense basking spot) and I put it on the left side of the tank away from his home and I got it a UVB bulb (All living things Tropical Compact Florescent UVB Bulb) to help with calcium obsorbtion and bone health I will be taking it a little later to...

It came with Zoo Med and the orchard Grass I got From my sister who has a bunny

Well i started feeding this supliment (zoo med Natural Grassland Tortoise Food) that i mashed with organic orchard grass and his shell seemed to improve since last night.... today I am going to get it a heat lamp cause when I got him all the stores where closed I literally tryed to find a store...

She works with all kinds of animals even exotic ones cause she used to live in texas and I guess exotic animals are legal there

But it shows all the features of a sulcata he has thorn like things on its legs and hides his whole body with the thorns sticking out as source of protection like a sulcata

But it dosnt seem like there's anything wrong with him he loves to splash around in water didn't know if that was normal , drinks water , loves lettuce, strawberrys and tomatos...runs around like nothing is wrong with it , the only thing that concerns me is his shell.
