    Seed haul.

Your packet says native to Mexico, so it's the "French Marigold". The seeds of the French marigold look like small, thin sticks while the Pot marigold seeds are curved with bumps/ridges.

    Seed haul.

French Marigolds are a no-no. Pot/Field Marigolds are okay. Having said that, those Marigold seeds look like the French ones I have. Am I out to lunch on this?

    Hollyhock

Gotcha. And yeah, the Hollyhocks are new to Toto. But they sure seem like old friends with the way he goes at them. He's never been shy/scared of me but now there seems to be an extra gear with these flowers.

    Hollyhock

Gah! That's right! When I first started reading up on Tortoise diet, I came across a similar line in regards to tunas (cactus fruit), heck, it might of been on this very forum. I guess it wasn't saved in my memory bank. Thank you for reminding me! :D I just started to grow my own Hibiscus...

    Hollyhock

I have a Greek that absooolutely loves Hollyhock flowers (he'll dabble with the leaves). I happen to have a double flowered one growing in the yard, the blooms tend to get knocked off fairly often. This is where Toto comes in. Literally. He mows down the fallen blooms and I'm wondering if I...

Ok Yvonne and Gang .......what is this?

Thank you for that link! :) I've grown a few different kinds through the years, and they are all plain ol' stunning. The flowers are so vibrant, the foliage a healthy lush green, and they attract a multitude of critters. <3

Ok Yvonne and Gang .......what is this?

The one in my profile picture is/was multi-headed as well. They are absolutely beautiful! Not sure they're the same type, but both are beauties!

Pumpkin Gave Me a Panic Attack! (Flipped Tortoise)

That's pretty much what it looked like. He just seemed so nonchalant about his little "ordeal". I think I was more confused/befuddled than he was. I went on to tell everyone about what had happened to him, and as you put it, his "meh" reaction. They thought it was hilarious, and I'm glad...

Pumpkin Gave Me a Panic Attack! (Flipped Tortoise)

Similar experience I had with my tort. When I got home he was flipped, he'd fallen off his hide. It was the darnest thing because he was fast asleep. I looked at him and had a "what the heck moment". I slowly turned him over and he looked as if nothing had happened. Glad your little guy...

    Help identifying some common weeds

After reading a few other threads, I'm guessing this was a bit of picture overload. Sorry!

    Help identifying some common weeds

I think a couple of these are sow thistle but I want confirmation for future references (and so I can refer to them by something other than weeds :)) (I see these around but have no clue of the name) (these next three, I think are sow thistle, yea or nay? (these two are a little...
