Msagekite

We have had one tortoise "Timmy", from one of my former students. He was about 4 years old when we got him and we have had him for about 8 years. He lives outside in the summer and shoulder seasons and indoors in the winter. Recently, another former student asked if I would take his two tortoises. I said yes, as we love Timmy so much. Well, Tank and Hummer are giants! I think they weigh about 50 lbs each. I know that Tank is heavier, since I couldn't lift him. We have now discovered that Timmy is male and so are Tank and Hummer. (all three sulcatas) So we have, on the great advice of TFO, made three separate enclosures in the yard. We have a large property, so we will give them more space as we have time to secure and build more tortoise areas. They are really wonderful creatures to watch. The big ones can really eat.
