    Big is she? If she’s not too heavy, you could try soaking her in a shallow bath of warm water and let it soak some of the dirt off.

    It does look like it is a gulf coast box turtle, thanks for the insight. Clearly, after looking at the photo he has 4 toes, not 3 like I thought. Thanks
