This would make sense because she also has a ton of skin hanging off near the neck area (shedding) .

Directly under the lamp is +- 38°C(100F) but it quickly dissipates in a wide area of around 34°C(93F)
The 'cool' side' is around 22°C(71F) ( room temp)
The bulb in those fixtures are http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/solar_glo.php 160W and a 50W extra heat lamp that I only turn on on cold days.

Recently i've come across a block of chestnut wood (was meant as firewood). That I wanted to put inside the enclosure so my russian would have an extra obstacle to climb on.
Now I know chestnuts themselves are a big no-no and so are leaves, but what about a block of wood...

We used to have a tortoise that was about 2x her size (also russian) surely enough she would chase and bite her... had to separate.
I have two babies now, one 100Gr one 200Gr. The 100Gr one won't leave the 200...

It started with just biting my fingers at the end of a lettuce when i was hand feeding (not sure if it's a thing you should do with tortoises, but both me and the tortoise seem to enjoy it so :D).
Then I put my hand out so she would come over for scratches...
Im unsure if she can't tell the difference between my fingers and carrots, but what I CAN tell you she will rush over and bite my fingers given the chance. Once bitten she does NOT let go :D (and yes, it hurts)

As title says, I've asked this before but people told me he/she was way too small to accurately tell. HE/She has grown a TON since (nearing 0.5KG).And I was hoping it would be different now :

Imean, last injection deff helped , she started eating again :) Last time she did before was over a week ago so...
I was really hopefull untill she started limping after getting an injection this morning..
he's moving as a tripod right now...
and yeah the vet wanted to poke him with the antibiotics in the leg, tortoise was struggling and was kind of a fight to inject it. Now he doesn't want to move his leg(or since its in front, arm i guess) .
