He's back wanted to say massive thank you to everyone's advice he's up and about first thing in the morning eating loads and eyes are open without needing to bath them. One question should I reduce the ceramic heat bulb temperature at night time or keep it at 27c/82f for abit longer.
So had abit more improvements over the weekend he's coming out in the morning on his own not having to wake him up with a water soak also eating loads and staying up for longer and basking under his lamp. Eyes are still not 100% but these pictures are before a bath.
So happy this morning he's eaten 3 peaces of cucumber from being hand fed, eyes are improving but not open yet look less puffy like a slight slit open in both eyes.
Not eating yet but been adding reptoboost in his soaks seems to be helping. I've been putting him in front of his food but he's not interested added some dried dandelion and flower mix. I'll give that a try and find some fresh dandelions normally a fav of his.
So been soaking my tortoise everyday and his eyes are getting better opening abit more each time but not without soaking first. He did his first poop today not had one in weeks hoping this is a good sign.
Not really yet I'd say very slightly with less puffy but still not opening them. Seems slightly more energetic digging more when he gose back to sleep after a soak.
Also it's getting quite warm inside would it be best to keep the window bits open during the day then close at night when he's only got the ceramic bulb going.
Thank you ill look into that also he's not eating still but hoping this cover will help with his eyes. I've also sprays down the bark slightly to get abit of humidity.
