Thanks Tom! I have other young ones that aren't doing that,I do have a suspicion which one it is.

I have this young tortoise that hasn't laid eggs yet this season,at one time she dug a nest went through the whole ritual but didn't produce any eggs,that was few month ago,I'm very suspicious that she may be the one.

Don't think so,eggs look recently laid,clean and not broken.

It does look like plantain,it is plantain major!

I know about the nutrition values of avocado's in human's but never heard or read about feeding it to reptiles and or if there is problem with it, My chickens love it,My dogs love it . I love it, so , guess I'm going have to experiment on Sulcata's! I don't think it's going to be harmful to them...

Well I have a few trees at home that I use on myself, also read some articles that it works miracles for animals of all types and if we could help people by giving them another tool to better our care of our beloved tortoises, why not research it?
