My male was produced by Gus in California and is browning great. Approximate 8.5” long and weighing 1300g.

I use the orchard grass pellets and orchard grass hay. I feed the pellets dry, if you wet them they turn to mush immediately. Unless you’re planning on spreading it over their food like someone mentioned. I use the hay bale to sprinkle over their food.
It really is! The first one I got I had no idea what was going on with it. Because in the Burmese stars, it’s not as prominent against the lighter color shell. Now it just tells me I’m doing something right.
