It’s a waterland tub. I believe a large land. They have a couple hides and a giant pool of flowing water to beat the heat!
Bring it on tortoiseforum.org!
I’ve had the adults out for a while now here in SE Pa. Temps are finally stable enough now for me to bring the babies out.
If you can’t stand wasting food. Your food or your pets food. Think about getting chickens. They take care of all our leftovers and their poop super charges my compost...
They stay in the incubator until the egg sac is gone and that never turns on because I don’t let the substrate dry out. Its only in case of emergencies.
I have a solar meter and check my bulbs often and mega ray has been the best bulb I’ve ever used. Maybe they stepped up their game since you last used them. I’ve read great experiences from many people with them as well.
Besides too much heat and not enough humidity if I had those problems...
It’s for hatchlings
Of course there are cut outs. The mega rays would melt through quick if not. The strip light is just for light. Under the mega rays it only gets 100 most.
Agreed
I was initially excited to join this community but I soon learned that some people seem to enjoy telling others that they are wrong and they are right period the end.
If I was someone interested in keeping tortoises that didn’t have any yet and came here for guidance I would of ended...
When I want to escape reality I come to this forum and read some of the responses people get. I can only do it once a month because I fear they will drive me crazy.
