I have a solar meter and check my bulbs often and mega ray has been the best bulb I’ve ever used. Maybe they stepped up their game since you last used them. I’ve read great experiences from many people with them as well. Besides too much heat and not enough humidity if I had those problems...

It’s for hatchlings Of course there are cut outs. The mega rays would melt through quick if not. The strip light is just for light. Under the mega rays it only gets 100 most.
