Hi Tom, i just found this in a reptile store and when i asked about it they said it will be easier to spot clean the enclosure without sacrificing humidity since it has holes. The only down side i can think of is that the tortoise can’t burrow. I just wanted to get expert opinion about it.
Hi! I was just wondering if anyone has experienced any negative effect on using this type of reptile mat on top of the substrate? Are there cons on using this and is it advisable to get one for my tortoise enclosure?

This is what i plan to do, just eliminate the mazuri. I would just like to know if i should be concerned? will it develop RI or other serious health issues because of what happened?
Update: runny nose stopped again the next morning. Sulcata is eating great and back to normal. 😊
