Another group is screaming NO ASPEN for bedding but I see here a lot of people use it. I’d like opinions here. The other group said my Hermann’s neede high humidity and big mistake. He got a URI from that.

I have a one year old Hermann’s Tortoise. He was given to me because my nephews girlfriend no longer had time for the Tort. When I first got him he’d eat, he’d want to get out all the time. Now he/she isn’t eating, just one bite. I noticed that he/she tried to bite the food but always misses...

Here’s what I did real quick on outside. Looks like grass. I had the paints and it’s on outside

Thanks I need to know what Temp he should be basking at. He’s also pacing at the glass in the tortoise box I just bought. I am going to paint it on the outside so he can’t see out.

Here is “Tortelini” my 1 year old who I had to take when my nephew asked if I could take him. They have 2 little babies and no time for this baby. This is all new to me.

My Hermann’s is a year old too and he’s doing the same thing. I’m so worried about him.

Thanks for letting me join. I just got this Hermann’s Tortoise. I have never owned one before and my nephew relinquished him to me. If anyone has a better home available and not too far away he is up for adoption with his tank.
