I'm a civil engineer from MN. I started joking with my boyfriend over a year ago that I wanted a tortoise which came about from watching Mr. Turtle on 'My Name is Earl' tv show re-runs.

Jon, my boyfriend, is finishing up a new and improved enclosure for Boris. Thankfully he is very talented in the workshop and I'm so excited to see it all done.

Boris is my Hermann tort's name. He seems to like to burrow and get up to some mischievery. Boris has already met my cat, Wilson, and it went very well. So well that the cat won't go anywhere near him - maybe tort's smell weird?
