Hey, thanks for the reply. The fixture has been using a UVB basking bulb for about 2 weeks now, so I don’t think the fixture is the issue. It says on the bulb specs that it holds a maximum of 26W for fluorescent bulbs, could that be the issue?

Hi, Thanks for the advice. I looked through the thread they linked, and am planning on picking up an Arcadia 75w solar basking floodlight, a mini white python led kit, an Arcadia pro T5 UVB kit and a more suitable hiding cave to get a humid hide going. Does this sound good for now in your opinion?
Hi, unsure what light it is sorry, but it is a heat lamp and the temp in the enclosure is good. The only thing I know about it is that it was bought in a pet shop.
Hi, the enclosure is 30x16 inches at the moment, as for the light I'm not sure which specifically as the enclosure came alongside the tortoise, though I can ask.
