I know that you should always try and get a captive bred if you can, but what if you come upon one anyways? What should you do? Do they require special/different treatment? Vet visit to check for parasites? Haven’t seen much info on this specific topic so I thought I’d ask.
I’m in Washington state, willing to travel a little bit. I’ve considered having one shipped from a breeder but the thought of having a live animal delivered makes me nervous.
