Royce the tortoise

I am new to the tortoise world, and although had a tortoise given to us as a child, and he disappeared. Few years later and we found a neighbour had her and kept her claiming it to be hers . I know nothing about caring for a tortoise. I adore them and have decided I would like to brave the idea of owning one properly. The hibernation scares me a lot . I work full time but luckily only work in communities in mornings and work from home in afternoons... have a partner working 4 days on shifts and between us we care for our two cats and a dog, so can def take on the care of a tortoise we feel. We have a lovely sized garden, quite rural but tiered as on the mountain and have a sunny spot awaiting progression towards a torti enclosure ....in the meantime we plan on having an Indoor tortoise.
