We have this huge thistle type plant on our property (located in Milton/Pensacola Florida) it has sharp spines and yellowish cream buds on, plant app said it was a Yellow Thistle, are these safe for our Sulcata to eat, spines and all? ?

She also like Alfalfa and Timothy pellets, the same as I feed my horses, is it ok also?

How much Grassland Pellets should I feed per day? (Sulcata) Want to make sure she is getting enough to eat, she is about 3-4 years old about the size of a round dinner tray, she has an outdoor habitat but very little grass grows there, she has Timothy Hay and Grassland Tortoise Pellets on hand...
