Great thanks, iv always been told to put my tortoise on Wood chip substrate but after doing some research iv changed that right away, I'm just a bit concerned incase I make the bottom of his coco coir to wet.

I might be sounding a little stupid but do I put the hygrometer in the table?

Great I'll have a look, how does tell if my substrate is too wet?

I don't have anything to read the humidity, I can't seem to decide on the right one, which do you recommend?

Hi, iv recently just put coco coir in my tortoise table but how moist do I need to keep it? Any help would be great.

He's around 13cm and 4 years old.. I'll get a picture of the bulb iv got in there. A picture of your enclosure would be great for me to see.

I did think that but it's been a good few weeks since he's been out, and when I do get him out he just goes straight back in his hide.

Hi thanks ks for your reply, I have his basking area around 90F and the cool side is room temperature, could you recommend the bulbs that would be better for him? Thanks.

Hi, I'm a new member to this community, I have a 4 year old hermanns tortoise. I did have him in a wooden vivarium but iv recently put him in a tortoise table and he never seems to come out of his hide I think iv seen him twice in 6 weeks, he eats but only when I put him in front of his food. I...
