I just got my first Redfoot Tortoise. He's a little hatchling, which makes me nervous... Don't really know if it's a boy but that's what we're calling him. My kids named him Leonardo, even though he is not a turtle...
Doing everything I can to make sure he doesn't get hydrated and eats well. He drinks from time to time but does not like to soak. I have not seen any poop since he came home 4 days ago....
I've always have had a strong love for turtles and tortoises. Have four turtle tattoos, need a tortoise one
I've been doing a lot of reading and hope to keep this guy going for many many years.
Kinda feel bad he's alone and thinking about saving up to get another one. All my pets have companions, he's my only odd guy out...
Well, just really excited about this little guy. So stupid cute, I'm in love already!
