I have someone that I had reached out to directly who is interested in adopting my Sulcata. What a relief. I know this person can provide a good home. :)
Thanks for suggesting that as an option. If I don’t get an interest locally, I’ll contact that rescue group and see if they have solutions for transport across the country. Or if they are aware of another group here on the east coast.
I regretfully need to find someone to adopt my male Sulcata tortoise. For financial reasons, I preparing to sell my house and will be downsizing. I anticipate that I may end up in a location that would not provide a good environment for my tortoise.

Thanks for your response, but I am limiting the choice of adopter to someone in Florida. I already have a person that is expanding their enclosure area to care for an additional tortoise.
Thanks for responding. I do have an adoptee that I have been in contact with. She has asked me to stand by for a few months until she gets an enclosure built. I appreciate her wanting to provide a secure environment before I release my tortoise to her care.
