Akadama (赤玉土 akadamatsuchi, red ball earth) is a naturally occurring, granular clay-like mineral used as soil for bonsai trees and other container-grown plants.
Has anyone ever used or heard of anyone using it as a tortoise substrate?

Ok, if I decide to go that route, I’d most likely go with the 8’x36” one, hopefully to get more bang for my buck. But, I think I could build something myself and save a ton of money! lol.
