Thanks! If it is safe for desert tortoise it shouldn't hurt my Greek to eat some then, right? He tries to eat the flowers off the ground but I haven't been letting him. I'm a new tortoise mom so I'm extra cautious.

I don't see it listed on The Tortoise Table. I also did a search here and didn't find an answer. I have 2 trees in my yard and I'm wondering if it is safe for my Greek tortoise to eat fallen leaves and flowers or possibly even good to feed them to him.

I have been wondering the same. I have been reading about what foods are safe, but haven't seen much about what is best. I bought a bunch of different seeds and plants to start growing for my newly adopted adult. I'm hoping just offering a variety will be good. Should grass be part of his diet?
