So i feed taco a pretty varied diet but as of late whenever i feed him dandelion greens or collard greens he gets a really wet poop. He never use to when i fed it too him so im not sure why all of a sudden it started happening. If anyone has any ideas or how to fix the problem I am open to any...

ya but he wasnt doing it for like the first month I had him. Thats why im worried cause it all of a sudden changed. Like he was totally fine being handled and then all of a sudden hes super scared and nothing happened to him so i dont know why he all of a sudden would be scared like that. Maybe...

Hi there, my tortoise started peeing every time i pick it up to soak it. It also seems to only be waking up at night time or when im not around. I didnt do anything different then i always did. Is there any thing I can do to make things less stressful for the little guy?

ya i read through the whole thing. I just soaked him today and switched his lights around so the hotter one is in the middle of the pen. should raise the overall temp of the pen a bit. He is very active today which is good to see.

I never use the TV. It gets used maybe like 2 times a month. And i started just watering the substraight every 2 days now with purified water. humidity is anywhere from 55-70 now.

btw thank you very much for the help it was greatly appreciated. New to reptile keeping and i'm loving it. Getting a western hognose hatchling soon very excited.

ya i leave the red one on at all times but good idea ill move the red one into the middle. i had that other one there cause it gives off uva and uvb but im assuming it doesnt have to be very close to give off the uvb

ok cool ya they both emit heat but the one is uva and uvb and heat and the other is just red heat. i leave the red one on at night and turn the other off.

Heres the setup. How would i increase the temp on the cold side also should i just mist the enclosure more the soil is more moist but the humidity thing is higher up on the side.
