Oh she is beautiful! I see what your talking about regarding the carapace color and head spot. After you asked your first question it sent me off looking for other Iberas and I did notice some that had almost a green tint to the carapace. Now you have me looking closer everytime I run across one!
He's an Ibera and by what I've noticed, and trust me I'm no expert, most have varying degrees of black even as adults. This little guy does seem to have a little more black than others I've seen though.
