So lately I've been looking at a new wooden house for Toby instead of using his long. I believe it would benefit him because then he would be surrounded and make him feel more safe. Have you ever seen one of those pet bunny wooden houses with the hole in it. I'm thinking one those might work for...
I would focus on the things that he can eat, rather than the things that he can't eat. Just don't let him eat it if you don't know what it is. Hope this helps.
I have been having problems with ants near toby's box and in my room. They keep coming back and I'm worried they will harm him. Should I be worried about the house ants and if so what should I do about it?
Thanks, M&T
Hi! Yes, your tortoise looks fine
But I see that you have a clear box for him. I would recommend changing that, because the clear box will confuse him and make him stressed out, and he will bang his head on the plastic. But, other than that, good job!
My Russian tortoise loves being read too. Whenever I read to him he likes the sound of my voice, and his head comes out of his she'll. Does anybody have any l8ds books they recommend to read to him for story time?
Thanks, M&T
We have three dogs and mostly keep them separate, but when they are around my tortoise, they never hurt him and the dogs are more scared of him then he is scarred of them.
