I have a 3 year old sulcata who sleeps outside in his house. Im using 2 ceramic heat lamps to keep her warm. I was thinking about getting a heat pad instead. Which should i go with.
I have a 7 1/2 in 2.2-pound sulcata who loves to run around my backyard. I was just wondering if he would be safe during the day when I'm at work. The only things I see are small birds and once in a while a crow. At night I use to see rats but not anymore. At night he sleeps in a Rubbermaid shed...
I have a ceramic heat bulb. The other temps on the other side are in the 80s. If i keep soaking her and keeping her warm and humid when do you think she would start feeling better.
She just randomly stopped eating and moving around so i made a close chamber enclosure with heat, stays around 95 during the day and night and i spray down the enclosure to keep it humid. Ive been doing this throughout the last 3 days and i have see very little improvement. What can i do better...
Already seeing progress. She opened her eyes and started to walk around in her carrot bath. I got a close chamber and now all i have to do is get the correct lamps.
i added a ceramic heat lamp and started to soak her in warm water now. I think the problem now is that she cant or is having a hard time opening her eyes. what should i do to help her.
thanks
My baby sulcata tortoise that i bought in August has just been sleeping all day. I rarely see her move and even when i hold her she takes forever to wake up.
She has a heat lamp UVB and basking lamp and I soak her daily. Its winter so I just wonder if she is not as active since Shes inside now...
