    Male Redfoot for Female Redfoot

I'm looking to trade a 5 year old male redfoot for a female. He's 7" long and 4.5" wide with a bit of pyramiding but is in otherwise full health. He has cute red cheeks and awesome feet, will send photos upon request. Just rescued him from a home that couldn't keep him. I'm looking for a female...

Dinner photos of Tuck on our anniversary-ish day

I would love to see some tortoise pictures eating their dinner (^∇^) I'm not sure on the exact day but I became Tucker's keeper around the days before valentines day - so I decided to make a cheeses collage..

help with sexing tortoise (I've been flashed!)

Ha, I'll never forget the day I found out that tuck was a boy while giving him a bath. I literally had to lay down on my couch and take it in. At the time I couldn't wrap my head around 'tuck' being a boys name.. but now I realize that it's a better boys name anyway. lol.

Has your Leo ever scared you?

Yes, my leo sleeps like this a lot! he's got a huge grin on his smug little face and he keeps all of his limbs as limp and untucked as possible. I jump every time I see him do it. His name may be tuck but he never tucks. When I nudge him to wake him up he just stretches his neck out for a rub...

Building a Tortoise "coffee table.." gulp.

I've decided to take the daunting task of constructing a coffee table styled tortoise enclosure for Tuck during the four months where he can't live outside! It's a great idea considering the space it would save, and When Tuck outgrows it it could still be useful. So.. Has anyone else tried...

Average lifespan of an indoor enclosure plant? three seconds.

Tuck is such a pig! I thought i'd put his plants in his enclosure because they were getting in my roommates way in the kitchen, but it only took Tuck two seconds to get them. Needless to say, they're back in the kitchen. I can't wait for the summer months when he can live outside! XP It's so...

    My Leo may be sick?

Alright, so the super glue is out! My tort refuses to use a cuttlebone, and he eats off a rock. But maybe i'll keep insisting that he try one. I'll make sure not to tear up his food anymore, if that promotes beak growth. He has had a major calcium problem in the past, (you can read his bio on my...

    My Leo may be sick?

After getting a beak trimming from my herp vet in STL, my vet instructed me to put a dab of super glue on the cracks that are on both sides of Tucks face, and apply every two weeks. Three months later, I've been doing as instructed, but his cracks look no better. They're riding up on his face...
