I should add that he has never brumated before. Previously owner had him for 5 years since birth and never brumated and then we have had him for 4 months or so.

I think, it's working. Hooked him out of his hide and hour or so ago and gave him a good mix of foraged food. Have just seen him, for the first time in ages, pee on his food plate and leave a couple of poops as well. This is after having a good feed of sow thistle flowers, dandelion flowers and...

The lights have been changed for a couple weeks. The CHE for the sleeping area, just a day or two so far.

Update on things: I now have a digital controller and CHE ensuring his sleep area never gets below 21 degrees Celsius, have swapped MVB for flood on 12hr timer and also have UVB strip light on timer between 12pm and 4pm each day. Temps in basking spots look ok. Tortoise is still, however...
