Are you saying that there were 2 and that the current baby I found ate their eggshell completely, and that's why I only found one eggshell?

I FOUND 1 EGG. It was very fragile and tore up it opened in half with some weird slimy stuff in there and smelled pretty bad. I hope this isn’t a dead fetus that was decomposing. I had no idea this hole was here and it was covered very well. I didn’t think I would find anything in it

He isn’t in the yard and we possibly found an exit route under the fence. Searching neighborhood with thermal hasn’t worked yet...
