Well, I named my first Tortoise Mr. Turtle... Which is totally scientificly appropriate!????

FOUND EM'! ??

My first tortoise! A rescue! It's been a learning experience, but I'm figuring out the best diet! A lot of high fiber plants and NO fruit! Download the tortoise food safety app on Google play! It lists all safe to moderate to unsafe foods!

This was the day I got my Russian, he seemed VERY happy to be outside! I rescued him from a terrible situation... Who knows what this guy has endured.

The final product! For a free rescue tortoise... I sure tried my best to make him happy and I did a bunch of research! I know the enclosure is a little small but it's not permanent and it's a lot better than the small 20gallon aquarium tank that he was in.

The tank has live marigold plants, and opuntia cacti inside. My Russian is a climber and loves exploring.

The painted version (Might cover up the "Turtle Power" symbol lol) I made it with a built in hide box for him. The dimensions are roughly 47inches by 20 inches and the walls are roughly a foot long.
