I've heard that since albinism is actually a recessive genetics, if both parents are sulcata albino, meaning the offspring will be 100% sulcata albino, but it will be very fragile. Easy to get sick and very weak. Is this actually true?
I just found the eggs today, after seeing your post, i decided to dig again deeper and finally found them. Thanks for your help my friend 😁😁. Some of them are cracked a bit, but i hope they can still hatch
She laid her first clutch a month ago, at 10th September 2024. So i expect her eggs about a month later. And at 10th October, she show the behavior of nesting, which is being restless and digging with her hind legs to the side.
Sometime later, she stopped doing so, therefore i expect her eggs...
Hi, i am wondering if air temperature affect sulcata nesting in her enclosure.
Currently the temperature ranges between 26 celcius at night to around 35 at noon. I am afraid that it is too hot for them to lay eggs.
She has dug many times before during previous week, and dug with her hind legs...
