He stopped eating about 3 weeks before I started to weigh him, but when I did start 22 feb he was 187g and is now 181g today so not lost that much I think.

Well he hasn’t eaten anything since those small bites on 28 feb.
Still doing reptoboost and carrot baths (alternating). He loves the baths and both eyes are usually open a little after the bath, but still not eating.

Well he’s stopped eating again… eyes puffy again, open for small amounts of time. Very active though and digging down but coming back up again on his own.
New UV lamp fitted and on since Sunday (3days) so he was without UV for about a week.
Been putting down lambs lettuce/florrette...
Sorry another question about the T5 light, I’ve got the 12% 24w D3 one I’m planning on putting it behind the lamp in the picture across where the long red line is, this would make it 18” above substrate… should it be higher?

Today after carrot bath both eyes open, happily walking around, managed to find some tortoise safe weeds in the garden and 1 dandelion. He managed to eat 3 of the smaller leaves and 1/4 of the dandelion before heading off to bed again.

Just wondering if Timothy Hay is safe for horsfield tortoises? Either as bedding, decoration or a food source?
My sister has a 9 year old tortoise that loves his hay with dandelions in it that she just sprinkles in his enclosure and he goes foraging for it.
