Yes, I messaged them. They have asked me to send the vet invoice to them and they will pay. It’s easy enough to miss as you can only see it when tort’s leg is stretched out (otherwise, it’s hidden under his shell).

Hi Angie, thank you. I will give him a soak. To me, the shape of it is exactly like the microchip in the image attached. I’ll soak and see if I can see it better. thanks for the advice. I’ve soaked him and it’s definitely the chip - you can see the metal inside!

The other leg is absolutely fine. I looked up microchips (image) and the shape looks exactly like this.

It’s definitely not a twig. I’m thinking it’s possibly his microchip? Got him booked in with a vet on Saturday.

Hi everyone. First timer here. We picked up our 1 year old hermann yesterday and noticed a strange protrusion on his back leg (see images). It looks like a twig that got stuck to him but it’s not that. Is this something to worry about? Thanks
