Last little update for everyone that is interested. They are doing good! All of them have completely hatched and absorbed most of their yolk. Should be ready to go into their grow out enclosures within the next few days. Thanks for everyone who helped! :)

I'm still waiting on my newly hatched boxxies to fully absorb their yolk sac before i move them into their enclosure, however when i took them out to give them a soak just now i noticed one of them had nibbled a very tiny piece of paper towel that i had them on. I don't want them to eat much...

I contacted the previous owner and no response yet but i'll be sure to update if they respond. That would be pretty cool! I'll grow them up and see what happens, if i get curious enough i'll try the DNA thing for sure.

That would explain it then! I'm used to seeing an all brown patternless turtle i guess 🤔

Sorry, should've explained myself! Thank you for the congratulations! I'm not too sure if they're intergrades or not, i doubt that they are, they just look a little different from the three-toed box turtle babies i've seen but perhaps they're just more colorful then the typical three-toed baby...

Thank you all for the congratulations 😄! The 3rd and last one from this clutch started to break out of the egg early this morning. I'll post more pictures once they're all out of the egg and have absorbed their yolk sac!

Little late night update for ya'll, been busy with work. Came home and saw that 2 of them hatched!!! YAY! After over 10 years of trying i finally produced my own CB box turtles! Still waiting on the 3rd one to hatch. It has been sweating all day so i assume it's near!! I'll be sure to post more...

Thanks everyone for checking back in! Thank you for the welcome :) . Today is day 56. Thought i'd update ya'll, i took a peak at the eggs and they're definitely more dented than they were 2 days ago. Hopefully this is a good thing. Should be hatching any day now!! So excited!

That's relieving to hear. Should i take the lid off of the deli container to allow for more oxygen exchange? I went ahead and put a moist paper towel over them. I'll be sure to update if/when they hatch!
