Hey folks! I have had my Red Footed tortoise, Pretzel, for almost 6 months now. They are around 9-10 months old and have been an absolute delight to raise. While I don't know the sex yet, Pretzel has become a "he" in the eyes of myself and family, so that's likely how I will refer to him FYI...
I appreciate the information! I have definitely been wanting to try a bunch of new foods so it's good to know I have a wide range of options to try!
Also, I would love to feed Pretzel more from the yard, however I believe weed killers and such are used on the property so I will likely avoid that.
95% of Pretzel's sleeping is in the warm humid hide, which is an upside-down opaque plastic bin with a door cut out. Like I said, the sleeping didn't seem off to me in any way, but I do appreciate getting some confirmation on that fact!

Thanks for the information! I see a lot of ranging information online as to what amount of space is appropriate for Redfoots, as well as other species (even here on these forums). Which is exactly why I made a new post on here among the readings I have done, information and research leads to new...
The one in York was last Sunday, but there is another one in Oaks, PA at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center on Saturday the 25th that'll I be attending with the same friend I mentioned above haha. Here's the details
Appreciate your input and thank you for sharing Stump! I just looked through...
I appreciate the quick reply and helpful information!
Do you have any specific recommendations for good Redfoot/tortoise breeders? And even better, any that are relatively local to myself (this isn't as important of course but would be nice)?
Also, is there anyway to tell by looking at a...
