Right now they're still too small to sell. We're thinking that when they're big enough we're probably going to get a table at the Nothern Berks reptile show and sell them there. We just have to get a permit to sell them in PA first (we live in NJ). I'll post another thread if that's what we...
NOT to hand feed! I used to hand feed my tort all the time and now she associates my hand with food. This means that now she tries to bite my hand every time i go near her...if i have food or not. She still does this even though I haven't fed her by hand in approx 4 months.
I felt it too. I was taking a nap and it woke me up. I live in South Jersey a couple miles from a nuclear plant and at first I thought it was blowing up. When there was no explosion I realized it was an earthquake. My facebook news feed is going crazy. lol
Once you have their enclosure set up the right way and keep the humidity high its really not all that difficult. Oh, and you have to make sure you have a dripper or mister system in place so that they can drink water.
I can't say I'm thrilled to have these new additions to our small zoo but...
So my boyfriends mom had 17 (so far) ambilobe panther chameleon babies hatch recently so she gave four of them to us.
As you can see by my signature we already have a lot of animals already so I guess he figured 4 more wouldn't hurt. eh.
Anyway I took a video of one of them hatching and...
what kind of turtle is in the pic 7th from the top? the one with the caption that says look at that cute face?
btw, great pics. that albino gator looks awesome.
No lie, I've caught myself watching that show every week. Every week I literally say out loud "why am I watching Love In The Wild?" and yet every week there I am watching it again. I SWEAR I DONT PLAN IT!!
I have 3 leopard geckos. I am not by any means an expert on them. I do know that two of them didn't mind being handled too much but the third was tricky. It would bark at us (yes, they bark) and try to escape constantly. It even bit me once. We just kept at it and continued to handle it once a...
The smaller areas of the fungus seem to be clearing up nicely. Just keep it up with the treatments and the rest should go away as well.
I had an issue with shell rot with one of my torts. He had it when I got him. I followed the treatments and the care sheets provided on these forums and...
So since this thread is called Cats & Dogs I figured I'd share some pics of my two cats and dog.
The cats are a month apart and are still kittens. The gray/white one is Frankie and the tortoiseshell is Mousse. They are both girls and like to cause trouble.
The dog is a Siberian Husky is a...
So the cheap version of Frontline is called BioSpot. Its $20 for a 3 month supply, not a bad deal compared to $60 for Frontline. It works just as well as Frontline if not better. It was also recommended by my vet.
As far as the litter box, I concur with everyone else with the bathroom idea...
My sister-in-law has a 6 month old Bulldog puppy. SUPER HIGH ENERGY! Not what you would think from a short fat little thing. She's always running around like crazy chewing on everything in sight, especially shoes.
Even though she's not my dog I'll add pics to make everyone happy.
She likes...
