I have an adult sulcata with a large grassy run that I had originally planted with seed for sulcatas. He has lived there 10 years and has selectively eaten to extinction his favorite grasses and other grasses have moved in.
When I reseed, do I have to till up what is growing now or just...
We are thinking about re-doing our automatic door for our large sulcata. We need something to open/close his heavy door on a timer. Obviously it would need an electric eye to prevent it coming down on him. We were thinking of trying a garage door opener. Has anyone tried this? Did it work? What...

As for the door construction, I will turn it over to my hubby.

Here are the pics of his house/shed. This is what happens when a biologist marries an engineer! He made the automatic door out of an old drill and 2 battery chargers! It is awesome! We have it hooked up to a timer that automatically adjusts with the sunrise/sunset. There is a people door and a...
Hi y'all! I am a small woman with a 50lb sulcata. He has a large grassy yard and an awesome house with heat & AC and door that closes automatically after dark. However, this time of year he starts to think sleeping outside would be a great idea. Of course, this is not a safe option and I have to...
