So the little I know about russian tortoises is she is most likely wild caught and the fact that they told you field raised makes me thing that might be true.

16 1/2 x 18 1/2 wire cage so no escaping. Watched her for about 15 minutes. She gently tried to escape a few times.Annyway when I put her back in her habitat, she dived into her bed head first and is still there about 45 minutes later. I think it scared her to be in the cage. What do you think?
