If her limbs are not stiff and no obvious decay signs - can you put her for a warm soak? 30-60 minutes. And maybe take her to the vet to know the cause of death... Anyway, I'm pretty sure it wasn't your fault. And my sincere condolences...

Thank you I appreciate your kind words. Sadly, she was stiff when I returned after an hour. She had a vet apt later that day. They told me the only way to check would be to give her an autopsy. I don’t wish to have a young baby cut open.
